The rescheduled race took place on a freezing cold January morning with all the usual Christmas cheer – fancy dress, mince-pies and carols from the brass band. Treacherous icy conditions underfoot resulted in some of the less sure-footed posting slower than expected times but there were still a number of PBs and strong performances, particularly from the ladies, with Pam, Angela and Sarah all picking up age-related prizes.
